If you're interested in ski touring or cross-country, the trails are just a few steps away. You can either head out on one of the many marked trails or onto the Nordic Ski trails - the longest trail network in the world - 300 kilometres of connected and groomed trails.

We also have a well-groomed snowmobile trail network, the resort village has trails feeding into this. The snowmobile trails are 5 metres wide and groomed by piste bashers, all to maintain the highest trails to the highest standard.

In summer, you can play a round of golf on Ljusnedal's 18-hole course or why not hook some trout in Lake Ljusnan. In Ljusnedal you'll also find the old industrial area, which shows the interesting history of Ljusnedal. Canoeing and mountain hiking are also nice activities in summer.
